A walk for the village of Aranda previously built walls around, leads us to discover that it does not live someone else's to his three rivers. Your fluvial walks invite the visitor to uncover a more relaxed city that takes proudly its last name.

In the heart of the village exist a framework of subterranean warehouses that no one who visits them can be indifferent. From the XIIth century even our days have remained intact in silence, only interrupted in time of wine harvests or festive events.

The Virgen de las Viñas Hermitage

The Virgen de las Viñas's Sanctuary: Temple of the XVIIth century, gives refuge to the image of the patron saint of Aranda de Duero, whose festivity is celebrated on September.

Caleruega, Hotel Los Rastrojos, Aranda de Duero, EspañaBirthplace in 1170 of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, patron saint of the province of Burgos and founder of the Dominican Religious Order. Village that treasures an important monumental value, putting on the front the Torreón de los Guzmanes, romanesque tower of the XIIth century, about which two Dominican convents were lifted-up, one of which keeps its church, cloister, crypt and monastic museum.

  • Distance: 5 kilometers.
  • Difficulty: Step down (fit for anyone, non-enabled for people with reduced mobility).
  • We will visit a center of interpretation of the pastoral culture and archeological remains of two towns, a warehouse and a wine press medieval.

  • Activity passes between the municipalities of Quintana del Pidio and Tubilla del Lago.

  • Distance: 6.5 kilometers.

  • We will go over archeological remains of a medieval town and ruins of mill and traditional warehouses. After a small Journey in vehicle we will visit a mill in use and it will be proceeded to accomplish a tasting of breads.

  • Approximate duration: 3.5 hours.
  • Distance: 6.5 kilometers.
  • Difficulty: Step down (fit for anyone, non-enabled for people with reduced mobility).
  • We will visit Milagros's town, telling the history that hides behind its stones, in addition to accomplish a journey for the bank of the river Riaza, we will visit the Valdeherreros town and a traditional warehouse and wine press.
